The information, compiled by Dawn Winkler of Concerned Parents for Vaccine Safety, was obtained from the 1997 Physician's Desk Reference. It is a representation not a comprehensive list of the various types of vaccines. For several entries, there is direct contact numbers. DPT
Diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and acellular pretussis vaccine absorbed. SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals 1-800-366-8900, extension 5231. Produced using aluminum phosphate formaldehyde, ammonium sulfate, washed sheep red blood cells**, glycerol, sodium chloride, thimerosol. Medium: porcine (pig) pancreatic** hydrolysate of casein***.

HAVRIX

* Note: The purpose of bacterial antibiotics (neomycin, polymycin, gentamicin, streptomycin, etc) showing up in viral vaccine preparations, is to mediate or reduce the inevitable bacterial contamination coming from the mediums and cultures of animal and human (cadaver and fetal) blood, albumin or tissues used in the vaccine production. But these cannot guarantee purity from phage viruses or incidental viruses riding along with the vaccine's subject virus!
